3 days left until James and I close on a house. I can not wait for this amazing new journey!!

My brothers will be helping us move along with my in-laws and our friends. I don't think we have that many things to move, but the more help, the quicker the process will be. My mother-in-law will be cooking us lunch. She is so sweet, always thinking about us! I just can't believe this is really happening.

One year later....

To who ever that is still reading my blog post, thank you for letting me be apart of your life!

James and I have been living with his Aunt and Uncle for the past year. We moved back with them Oct 2016. We realized that living on our own to save for a house was going to take a lot longer than expected. After living with his Aunt and Uncle for a whole year, we were able to save. James and I started our house process in September 2017. By the way, the house market this year was horrendous! Our realtor called it the 'Sellers Market' year. Too bad we didn't have a house to sell this year! Ha!! Just kidding...

After looking at 5-7 homes in the Eagan/Apple Valley/West St. Paul area we eventually found the home we fell in love with in Apple Valley. We put an offer on the house before we left the house that night and the next day (November 15, 2017) the seller accepted the offer. (Jumping for joy!!) &&&& that's how it all started!!

Here we are... December 19th, James and I are one month away to closing on the house. We were suppose to close on the house on December 28th of this year but since the seller was not expecting an offer so soon, we had to push the closing date a month out. It sucks that we still have a whole month left to move into our 'Future' home but also good at the same time because we still have time to save.

I just can't believe I'll have a HOUSE in 2018!! I'll share more photos with everyone when I get the chance to upload them!

3 Years Later....

I can't believe it's been 3 years since the last time I've updated my blog. Lets get you caught up.

I married the man of my dreams 1 year ago (I know, I can't believe it's been 1 year already). I'm finally living on my own, with my husband of course. Oh... And I just got promoted....
For the past 2 years I've been working with HealthPartners as a Dental Receptionist/Back up Billing Clerk Specialist. Just this month I was offered the Billing Clerk Specialist position. That consists of new hours (7:30-4p) and my own desk. I am so super excited to have day shifts that end at a normal time. I've been waiting for this day to come!

Till this day, I still can't believe he's ALL mine. When we started dating, some people told me to cherish all the wonderful moments together because once he puts a 'ring' on it, he'll be a different person. TBH (to be honest), it's been the same since day one. I love that he still holds my hand in he car and in public. James will drop whatever he's doing to give me my daily hug after I get home from work.

A wise friend once told me that if the guy did something nice and you liked it (ie. opening the door), let him know that it was a nice gesture and you really like it.  'Complimenting the good' I would say... Guys aren't mind readers. Assuming is not an option. 

With that being said... from day 1, I expressed how I felt and what I liked and it's helped because James really makes me feel wanted and I absolutely love it. 

I don't really know what else is new in my life other than work and being married to James. I'm thinking about writing about my married life; the ups and down, travels, life etc...  

INDIA

We made it!!! We arrived to our first destination last night here in India. It's currently 9am and man oh man am I tired. I'm awake and I have a lot of energy but my eyes are so tired. Anyways, thank you for keeping our team in your prayers. We had a few complications throughout the whole flying from the USA to India, but God is so faithful to His promises. Some have heard about the Micky situation. If you haven't, one of our team members wasn't able to fly with us 'cause of his last name being different than his legal name. With Perseverance and determination, we connected with our travel agent and we got Micky on the plane the next day. With that bring said, he's flying alone and will be arriving alone. Once he gets to India, we'll meet him here. It's so cool how God promised us 15 and even though this came up, I really felt like he wanted us to trust in Him and His promises. He's a great Daddy who will never fail us. It's so amazing to witness what He's doing. So keep Micky in prayer as he's flying alone. Thank you!
Pray that the whole jet leg feeling won't kick in. Supernatural adjustment. YEAH GOD!!!!
I love you guys!!! We have two more flights to catch before our final desitnation. Anyways, I can't wait to see what God has in store for us today. :)

Today is the DAY

YAY! TODAY IS THE DAY!!! I've been waiting for this day for a long time. I've been working long hours and getting a lot of work done before leaving. THANK YOU to everyone one who donated towards my trip! Everything is fully covered, Hallelujah! May God continue to bless you guys as much as He has blessed me.

So once again, thank you for your continued interested in my life. You could be doing anything right now but you're reading this and that means a lot. So... I leave to India with my AMAZING team today and we'll be back March 30th, just in time for Easter Sunday. As we're getting ready to depart Minnesota in a few hours, please keep us ALL in your prayers. There's 15 of us going so you know how that looks like at the airport especially when you're going through customs etc.

The past few weeks have been c-r-a-z-y! I was getting overwhelmed by the most littlest situations, everything I needed to get done was not getting done and then I misplaced my work key. Everything was going down hill. Little did I know, all I had to do was "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." Matthew 7:7. The bible is really the book of life. When you're lost and confused, frustrated and or consumed by joy it's all in the book on how to deal with it. After telling my Doctor that I lost my work key, you could tell he wasn't happy but he played it off like it's okay. the next few days I kept him posted on how I wasn't able to find it. At this time, I've already lost hope. My Doctor kept telling me that he was confident about me finding me key. He gave me a week to look for them. My oh my... I didn't care anymore cause I knew I lost them. I wanted to take the easy way out and have him replace everything and I'll just pay for it. But no, he gave me a week to look for them. That week led up to me departing to India. Little did I know... time was ticking and I had to approach my doctor with the updated news. Did I find the Key? HECK YEAH I DID! It was in my purse all along. crazy! I knew God was telling me to not give up so easily. AHHHHH did I rejoice like crazy!!!

Anyways, I just wanted to share with you about what happened this week. God is so faithful! I'll try to keep writing blogs as I'm in India. I love you all.

Mission: India

Hey, Hey, Hey!!! As many of you may or may not know, late October of last year, God open a door for me to go to India from March 21st to March 31st of this year (2013). I will be going with Young Adult Koinonia (Y.A.K), a mission organization that I have been involved with for the past 3 years. They organize mission trips, young adult gatherings and operate a mission base in the inner city. For the past two years YAK has felt a call to take young people to the nations. Two years ago I was apart of the team that went to Mexico with them and that trip blew my mind away. I love seeing what God is doing around the world and I love being apart of it. The mission trip to Mexico two years ago marked something in me. Since then, I love going where God is calling me to go. I am beyond ecstatic as to what God is doing around the world and blessed to be partnering with Him and 14 other amazing men and women of God. 

We are working with a young adult leader name Pastor Paul. Pastor Paul's father is the bishop of a network of churches in the state of Andhra Pradesh on the south east coast of India. Vijayawada is the second-largest city in Andhra Pradesh with a population of over 1 million. I need you to partner with us! I need your help, prayer and support to enable us to complete this mission.

We are raising a team of about 80 people to pray during this trip and participate in our preparations. Here is how you can help:

-Join us in our mission conference on February 7-9th at Redeeming Love Church.
-Help us with out mission Inidia Banquet on March 9th at Redeeming Love Church.
-Each team member needs to raise $2500 to cover the cost of the mission trip.
-Join the prayer team.

I'm Back

Man, I haven't written a blog in such a long time. I must have to say, I'm slacking so bad right now. There are times when I think to myself how I should write my blog and when I do, I get no where. In fact, I have like 3 rough drafts that were never finished. I don't know why writing blogs are so hard for me. I guess I'm always making it harder than it really is. Anyways, WELCOME to 2013 Ya'lls.
How exciting is that, 2012 is over and we're onto the new year. I must have to say, 2012 was a great year but it went by really fast. I'm still in awe of what the Lord did in my life in 2012. I seriously can't phantom how great God is. Honestly, none of the things I've experienced could have happened without his grace upon my life and His strength. My Father is so good and so faith full and He never fails. With God, ALL things are possible for He makes the impossible the possible- That I can testify.

A lot has been happening since the last time I wrote.
I have a team of 15 people heading to India in March. We all have been preparing for this. So yeah, we've been contacting with Pastor Krupanandam Paul and Changdu Lucky with all the India preparation and it's been going pretty good.
